Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RayAI (the "Service"), operated as an individual sole proprietorship based in the Philippines ("RayAI", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. What RayAI Does

RayAI is an AI-assisted job search tool. It aggregates publicly available job listings from third-party sources (including but not limited to OnlineJobsPH, LinkedIn, JobStreet, Indeed, and Kalibrr), and uses Google AI to generate tailored resumes, cover letters, match scores, and interview practice content based on information you provide.

• RayAI is not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer, and does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment outcomes.
• Job listings are sourced from third parties. RayAI does not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or continued availability of any listing, and is not responsible for the hiring practices of any company you apply to.
• AI-generated content (resumes, cover letters, interview feedback, match scores) is produced automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before sending it to a prospective employer or relying on it in any way.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

RayAI offers a Free plan and paid Pro / Premium subscription plans, billed monthly or annually in PHP. Paid plans are processed through PayMongo via GCash or Maya QR code.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
• You can cancel at any time from your account; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
• Prices and plan features may change with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Free-plan usage limits (including tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview coach sessions) are described on the Upgrade page and may be adjusted from time to time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scrape, resell, or redistribute job listings or AI-generated content at scale, or to build a competing service.
• Attempt to circumvent plan usage limits, rate limits, or authentication.
• Use the Service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to employers.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through automated scripts beyond normal use.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this section without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is owned by RayAI. You retain ownership of the resume content, profile information, and other materials you submit. By using the Service, you grant RayAI a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g., sending it to the AI API to generate tailored documents).

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (data storage and authentication), Google AI (AI content generation), PayMongo (payment processing), and Gmail (application email sending). Your use of features that rely on these providers is also subject to their respective terms. RayAI is not responsible for outages, errors, or data handling by third-party providers beyond our control.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RayAI and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunities, lost income, or lost data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via Settings, or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior, or as needed to protect the Service or other users.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
